Notice of Foreign Teachers’ Apartment Occupancy

　　 The foreign teachers must follow the rules made for normalized foreign teachers’ apartment management

　　1.Foreign teachers’ apartments are not allowed to be rented or transferred with only use right not ownership.

　　2.The foreign teachers can stay in foreign teachers’ apartments within the time schedule stipulated in the contract with our college and must move out upon expiration of the contract duration.

　　3.All the furniture, electrical equipments and commodity series have been registered in International Education Exchange Department and remain public property which must be protected by the foreign teachers during their stay here. Before the foreign teachers leave here, the above public property should be checked out and verified to avoid loss and damage.

　　4.During the apartment occupancy, the foreign teachers must come back to the apartments before 22:20 (winter) or 23:00(summer). Such are not allowed as staying out late and accomodating in other places. Removing from urban areas and staying out all night ( in friends’ homes or others) must be declared to International Education Exchange Department, or for all the consequences arising from the above.

　　5. The foreign teachers must not house others and inform International Education Exchange Department in case of special situations. Visitors must leave the foreign teachers’ apartments before 22:00. Pets, flammable and explosive goods, infection goods are not allowed .

　　6.Use all home appliances and sockets safely. Before using the electrical equipments, the residents must ask the interpreters for help about the instructions and notices to ensure the safety. Especially, during using the electric water heater to have a shower ,please pull the plug in case of leakage of electricity and danger. Pay attention to overload of electrical appliances to avoid circuit fire.

　　7.Keep the window, the door, the curtain and the gas valve safe before bedtime. After using the gas, gas stove valve and piping safety valve must be closed at once .If anything dangerous happens, contact us immediately and stop using them. Do not maintain them selfishly and not remain using in case of personal injury.

　　8. International Education Exchange Department is responsible for contacting the workers to repair the broken facilities and equipments in the apartments.

　　9.Security guards are on duty the whole day while safety precaution is warned here.

 Working specifications:

　　1. Teaching plans: The foreign experts should write out comprehensive teaching plans.　　　

　　2. Preparing lessons: The foreign teachers should pick proper materials to enrich teaching, design teaching process elaborately and write out integrated teaching plans.　　

　　　3. Giving lessons:

 　　 The foreign experts must follow close to the line of teaching disciplines, such as not being late, not leaving early, not suspending classes privately, not exchanging classes, not leaving classroom privately. The proper behaviors are exact teaching contents, proper teaching methods, advanced teaching approaches, reasonable teaching process and significant teaching effect. In class, the foreign teachers should be decent dressed according to Chinese culture. The foreign teachers are asked to have a careful record about every student’s performance and class training in daily class.

　　4. Homework arrangement and correction:

　　The  foreign teachers must assign homework to the students, then correct the homework carefully and give a record of homework correction. The students’ assignments should kept as a part of grades.

　　5.After school program:

　　It includes: solving students’ problems, working out residual problems , guiding students to fulfill homework, making up missed lessons for the students, special coaching the smart students to satisfy their learning desire, arranging amateur oral training to improve students’ oral communication ability.

　　6.Performance evaluation :

 　　 Examinations should be performed according to syllabus design and teaching contents in the forms of oral examinations, written examinations, asking questions in class, giving a grade for each assignment, open-book examinations and closed-book examinations both on fixed days and occasionally.

　　7.Extracurricular work:

　　The foreign teachers not only do the above work, but also participate college’s related activities, such as teaching and researching activities, Russian Corner and English Corner ,etc.
